Mobile Device Statistics

  • There are 5.19 billion unique mobile users in the world .
  • Spain is the country with the most smartphones per inhabitant in the world (92% of Spaniards have at least one smart phone).
  • The main device for accessing the Internet is the mobile phone (49%), followed by the laptop and desktop computer (47%),  tablet  (3.3%) and other devices (0.08%).
  • 38.8% of users abandon a website if it is not adapted for smartphones .
